The word mandala is Sanskrit for "magic circle". The sacred geometric design of mandalas originate from Hindu and Buddhist cultures, which symbolize unity, harmony and deeper connection between the self and the universe. The mandala's purpose is to promote mindfulness and balance, assist in healing and lead one to enlightenment. Mandalas can also be used during meditation to help one focus and relieve stress! Paintings are completed with a satin finish to make the colors truly pop!
